Francis L. Frary, (84), of Lignum, Virginia met Jesus face to face on February 3, 2024.  He passed away peacefully surrounded by family after a three month battle with spinal stenosis.

Francis, fondly known as Frank, graduated from Pitt University in 1963 and was a dedicated pharmacist for 46 years.  Chemistry was his favorite subject in school.

Frank loved Jesus, going to church, talking to strangers about Jesus, family game night, family gatherings, golfing, and woodworking.  He handed out countless wooden Jesus signs to strangers as a witness of God's goodness.  His most favorite pastime was to spend time with his family, church family included.  Frank was quick with a smile and often had a good clean joke to brighten someone's day.  He loved to laugh and had a marvelous sense of humor.

Frank was loved by his family and many friends.  He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jean and their four children and spouses Beth and Larry, John and Amy, Scott and Robin, Susan and Rick.  Frank is also survived by his sister Janey Mallinder of GA, 13 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

Frank wanted a private family graveside service.
