Freddie Thomas Wilburn, 77, of Locust Grove, VA passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018 in Charlottesville, VA. Freddie was born on February 21, 1940 in Alexandria, VA to George Thompson and Ella Mae (Love) Wilburn, one of thirteen children. Freddie married Catherine Lee Nichols in 1961 and made their home in the Locust Grove area abut 45 years ago. He was a carpenter and plumber by trade. Survivors include two sons; Anthony "Tony" Pulzone (Cheryl), Steven G. Pulzone (Kathy); two daughters, Metheal "Tiney" Powell (Bill), Theresa Ramsey (Elbert), four sisters, Anita Wooten, Audrey King, Elise Wilburn, Virginia Sothard; and a host of grandchildren, great and great grandchildren and other relatives. Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 17, 2018 from 10 am to noon at Laurel Hill Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 12 Noon.
