Garfield Weaver passed away on March 14, 2024 at UVA Hospital. Garfield was a proud American who loved his country and God. A soldier and Veteran. A gentle giant, with the strength of an ox. He had the sweetest blue eyes and a big heart. He was a good friend to many who always waved and asked people how they were doing. He gave the best hugs and the firmest of handshakes. Garfield loved animals, Garth Brooks, trucks, and tractors. He read his Bible often and was confident the Lord was watching over him. A great friend to Lauren Lucy, her husband, and their dog, Charley, who he adored. Garfield will be sorely missed by many.
