Gary Wayne Freeman, 75, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Sunday January 15, 2017.
Gary was born on February 23, 1941 to Charles M and Laura E. (Hubbard) Freeman.
He served in the US Army from 1959 to 1965. Gary married Eileen Pearl Pugh on June 10, 1964 and she preceded him in death in 2011. He worked as a floor mechanic. Survivors include two sons; Gary Edward and Jeffery Wayne Freeman; four daughters; Redonda C. Ashley (Robert), Monica R. Freeman, Angela B. Allen (Douglas), Amy Freeman Moore (Paul); three brothers; Bud Freeman (Linda), Darrell Freeman, Ricky Gilliam; three sisters; Susie Barker, Maude Felty, Margaret Longerbeam, nine grandchildren; John Weeden, Courtney Ashley, Justin Sullivan (Catie), Laura and Brooke Sullivan, Daniel and Shay Freeman, Ryan and Hannah Allen; and one great grandchild, Cali Weeden.
Interment will be held on Friday January 20, 2017 at 2 p.m. in Laurel Hill Memorial Park, Spotsylvania with military honors. Memorial services will then be held at Wilderness Community Church at 3: p.m. Online condolences may be made at laurelhillfuneralhome.com
