Georgie Day Eley Kovarik, 74, of Lake of the Woods, died Friday November 17, 2006 at Mary Washington Hospital.
She was born December 3, 1931 in West Point, NY and was the daughter of the late Colonel William S. and Dorothy Eley.
Mrs. Kovarick is survived by her husband Lt. Col (Ret.) David Kovarik , her three sons William Kovarick and his wife Linda, of Radford, VA, Daniel Kovarik and his wife Killy, of Oak Hill, VA and Kenneth Kovarik and his wife Lisa, of Clayton, NC and 11 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 Tuesday November 21, 2006 at Lake of the Woods Church. Burial will be at Culpeper National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 4:00-6:00 pm at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, Spotsylvania
