Geraldine Frances Walsh, 65, of Lake of the Woods, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 in a Richmond hospital. The daughter of the late Raymond and Marie Lipsett Lore.
Geraldine was a retired nurse from the Woodmont Healthcare Center. She was a member of the Catholic Church as well as the Lioness Club.
Survivors include her husband, Harry Walsh of Lake of the Woods; two sons; Michael Walsh and wife Kristine of Dallas, GA; Gregory Walsh and wife Susan of Gainesville, VA; one brother, Raymond Lore and wife Helen of Gainesville, FL; one sister, Joan Priscilla Aldworth of Claymont, DE. Geraldine is also survived by five grandchildren.
There will be a local viewing at Laurel Hill Funeral Home in Spotsylvania on Monday, December 26, 2011 from 2:00 - 8:00 pm. A second viewing is scheduled for 8:30 am - 10:00 am on Thursday, December 29, 2011 followed by a funeral mass at St. Martin of Tours in Philadelphia, PA and burial at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Philadelphia, PA.
