Gilbert Madison Kidd, Sr., 71, of Burr Hill, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2006 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Mr. Kidd was the husband of the late Ethel Kidd and is survived by his son, Ricky Marshall Kidd of Alexandria and his step-daughter, Joann Kidd of King George, his three brothers, Cecil Kidd, Leslie Kidd and Douglas Kidd, his two sisters, Marjorie Olsen and Shirley Carter, his 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He is also pre-deceased by his son, Gilbert M. Kidd, Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Monday January 16, 2006 at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, Spotsylvania. Officiating will be Rev. Al Johnson. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Funeral Home.
