Obituary
Glenora Morey passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2016 in Fredericksburg, VA at the age of 87.
She was born in South Carolina on May 27, 1929 and was married on December 14, 1944 to William H. Morey, deceased 2009. Glenora worked in the grocery industry in Maryland where she resided for many years until later moving to Augusta, Georgia.
Glenora is survived by her daughter Lydia Schree McConnell and husband Wayne R. McConnell, son William Terry Morey and wife Sarah T. Morey, son James Thomas Morey and wife Mary Edith Morey, daughter Penny Dian Hubbell and husband Leonard H. Hubbell, and daughter Deborah Glenn Dunn and husband Harold W. Dunn.
She was also loved by her eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Glenora was known for her strong spirit, giving heart, and sparkling personality. She was loved by all and will never be forgotten.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Glenora will be held in Hilton Head, South Carolina in May of 2017.
