Mr. Gomer Grim, age 90, of Spotsylvania, the son of the late Proctor Grim and Loy McCoy passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Grim served with the United States Army in the Asiatic Pacific Theater of Operations during WWII. He then worked in maintenance for Union Carbide.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley D. Grim of Spotsylvania, three step-sons, Chris Neibauer and his wife Suzanne of Spotsylvania, Ray Neibauer and his wife Bonnie of Burtonsville, MD and Aloysuis Neibauer of Ventnor City, NJ; his grandchildren, Amanda, Justin and Brooke, great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Jackson Neibauer, his nephew, Henry and two nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to TLC Prep School, 6050 Plank Rd., Fredericksburg, VA 22407.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 pm on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Laurel Hill Funeral Home in Spotsylvania. Funeral services will start at 1:00 pm on Sunday, also at the funeral home.
