Harald A. Harbord, 71, of Fredericksburg, passed away February 27, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosa Harbord. Mr. Harbord is survived by his daughters; Ramona Ventura and her husband Al of King George, Diana Foster and her husband Bob of Fredericksburg and Anita Rock and her husband Joe of Fredericksburg; his five grandchildren Caitlin Ventura, Casey and Travis Foster, Megan and Michael Rock; and his friend and companion Lotte Albowski.
Harald served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Local 1078.
A funeral will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 6 in the chapel at Laurel Hill Funeral Home. A private inurnment will be held at Quantico National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or Veterans Affairs.
