Harold Wood, 77, of Locust Grove, passed away Sunday February 26, 2006, at Mary Washington Hospital.
Mr. Wood was a retired U.S. Air Force Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict and a member of the American Legion Post in Lorton.
He is survived by his two sons; Michael S. Wood and his wife Audrey of Woodbridge and Randy A. Wood of Maryville, TN, his granddaughter, Lantana Wood of Cincinnati, OH, his step great-grandchildren, Christopher and Brandon, his sister, Sandra Hogg of MI and his niece, Judy Powell of Centerville, OH.
A Funeral service will be conducted 7:30 pm Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, Spotsylvania. Rev. Al Miles will officiate. Burial will be at 12 noon Friday, March 3, 2006 at Quantico National Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
