Harry Everett Sandford, Jr, 80 of Locust Grove, passed away Thursday March 31,2016 at Mary Washington Hospital with his loving wife, Nancy by his side. Harry was born on January 22, 1936 to Harry E and Dora (Foster) Sandford in Paterson, NJ. He is a veteran of the US Air Force where he was a fire fighter. Continuing this career, Harry retired after 27 years, in 1990, with the Milburn, NJ Fire Department. He married Nancy R Jones in 1972 and they moved to Lake of the Woods, Locust Grove in 2000. Survivors include his wife Nancy; four brothers, Gregory (Nancy), Glenn, Donald (Arelis), Scott (Maria); sister Micki Prince (John) and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Services will be held at a later date.
