Leon Ratcliff, age 90, passed today Thursday, July 29, 2021. He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years Loretta Mae Broyles Ratcliff; his parents Wirt Rowe & Nellie Gray Ratcliff; brothers Marvin Ratcliff and James Ratcliff; sisters Virginia Clark Hazen and Maymie Sue Turner; and his father & mother-in-law Haven & Pearl Skeens Broyles.

He is survived by his children, Mike Ratcliff, Drema Copeland and her husband Don, Cathy Moon and her husband Denny and Debbie Drewry and her husband Ray; 9 Grandchildren, Mark, Kevin, Ramona, Jeffrey, Justin, Clinton, Dedra, Nichole & Casey; and 17 Great Grandchildren Mitchell, Mason, Mallory, Savannah, Cole, Lane, Ian, Evan, Arron, Kierstyn, Kenzi, Ava, Spencer, Preston, Carter, Bella, & Grayson; sister Louise Ratcliff Southerland and brother Jerry (Sonny) Ratcliff; plus numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Mark Ratcliff, Kevin Ratcliff, Clinton Moon, Justin Young, Casey Drewry and Mitchell Ratcliff. Special thanks to Caris Healthcare (Hospice) for their care & kindness. They are truly angels in disguise.

Relatives and friends are invited to Leon's visitation at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, 10127 Plank Rd., Spotsylvania, VA on Friday, August 6 from 11 AM until time of Graveside Service at the Laurel Hill Memorial Park at 12 PM with Don Copeland officiating.
