Howard Lee Snook, 80, of Locust Grove, VA passed peacefully at home on November 12, 2023.
He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who leaves
behind a legacy of warmth and laughter. Howard was born May 18, 1943 in Washington, DC.
He was the son of Lewis H. Snook and Anna Mae Leighton. On November 23, 1966 he married
the love of his life, Katherine Beache.

Howard was a magnetic force, people gravitated towards him. If you were around him, you were
sure to laugh because he always had a great story to share. He was proud of the many years
he worked as a real estate agent with Long & Foster Realty, receiving awards, commendations
and creating life-long friendships. When Howard wasn't selling real estate, you could find him
on the golf course, or on a family beach vacation, getting up early to see the sunrise and
surprising the grandkids with hot & fresh Krispy Kreme donuts. He was passionate about his
Corvettes and enjoyed being a part of the NOVA Corvette Club. He was a loving husband,
proud dad, grandfather, and great grandfather.

Howard is survived by his wife of 57 years, Kay; his children, Terri Snook Dingess (Gary), Brian
Snook (Stephanie) and Kevin Snook; his grandchildren, Trevor Dingess (Krista), Samantha
Dingess, Mackenzie Dingess, Dylan Snook, Lauren Snook, Carlie Morgan (Chase), Eli Wiggins
and Sophia Wiggins; his great-grandson, Gage Dingess; his brother, Lewis Snook, Jr. (Donetta)
and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Anna Snook.
We invite you to join us in honoring Howard's life. A visitation and service will be held on Friday,
November 17, at 9:30 A.M. at Laurel Hill Memorial Park, Spotsylvania, VA. This will be followed
by a Graveside Service at Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas, VA, at 12:00 P.M.
