Ida Patricia Confroy passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 14, 2024.  Pat was born November 11, 1929, in St Mary's PA daughter of the late Dr. Joseph E and Theresa Murphy Sunder. She was a graduate of Seton Hill University, Greensburg, PA. On April 11, 1953, in Sacred Heart Church, Pat married the late James Richard Confroy who passed away in 2010.  She is survived by her seven children, Christine (Peter) Lijoi from Summit NJ, James (Mirian) Confroy from Cary, NC, Patricia (Herbert) Johanson from Columbus OH, Mary (Charles) Valentafrom Ashburn, VA, Mark (Patricia) Confroy from Camden, SC, Joseph (Holly) Confroy from Apex, NC, Thomas (Becky) Confroy from Piqua, OH, fifteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.  Pat had one surviving sister-in-law Sister Teresa Confroy, Sisters of Charity, Convent Station, NJ. A Mass of Chistian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 2:30 PM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 9151 Elys Ford Road, Fredericksburg, VA.
