Jacob Allan Mutter, age 11 of Fawn Lake, Spotsylvania, died Thursday, February 26, 2009 at Inova Fairfax Hospital.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Charles Mutter, Sr., and maternal grandmother, Janice Gentry.
Jacob is survived by his father and stepmother, Charles Mutter, Jr. and Liesel Hubbard; his mother, Erin Gentry; brothers and sisters, Charles Mutter, III, Lainey Mutter, Austin Morrow and Tatelyn Morrow; paternal grandmother, Carol Mutter; maternal grandfather, Lee Gentry.
Jacob had never spoken, but touched more lives than he would ever know.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00am Tuesday, March 3, 2009 in the chapel of Laurel Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Todd Rigney officiating. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00pm Monday at the funeral home.
The family has requested that donations, in lieu of flowers, be made in Jacob Mutter's memory to Cole's Closet. This is a local organization that helps out Children who are confined to the Hospital. Cole's Closet donates toys, video games and all sorts of other toys to make a sick child's stay in the hospital more tolerable.
