James William "Bill" Logan, 68 of Fredericksburg, Virginia, formerly of Pennsylvania, died Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg.
Born in Chester, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Sue Wallace Bengisser and the late John "Sonny" Logan.
Bill was a casino dealer for 13 years in Biloxi, MS and at Bally's Park Place in Atlantic City. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a former employee of Philadelphia Electric Company for 23 years. Bill was an avid sports fan and loved the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Flyers.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Nancy Logan; two sons, Tim Hunter and his wife Gohar, and Michael Hunter and his wife, Tami; one daughter, Tracy Mealey; grandchildren, Travis Hunter, Ashley-Savannah Hunter, Bobby Logan and Tiffany Logan; brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Linda Logan; mother-in-law, Helen Howley; and his beloved dogs, Simba and Sierra.
No services are scheduled at this time, but memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, or to the National Brain Tumor Foundation, in memory of Bill Logan.
Bill and his family are in the care of Laurel Hill Funeral Home, 10127 Plank Road, Spotsylvania, Virginia.
