Obit for James McCauley III
James Patrick McCauley III, 64, of Spotsylvania, VA, passed away Monday Jan. 24, 2005 at his home.
He was an Army veteran and served in the 1960's as a professional fireman in the Tacoma Park and Riverdale MD. Areas. He was employed at Mortons Power Equipment as the service manager for 26 years and he and his wife were avid travelers and loved to dance.
Mr. McCauley is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mrs. Bessie McCauley, his three children; James Patrick McCauley IV and his wife Diane of Locust Grove, Ricky Allen McCauley and his wife Delores and Debra Davis and her husband Mark all of Spotsylvania, three grandchildren; Michael Wayne McCauley, Brittney Nichole Davis and Samantha Anne McCauley; twin great-grandsons Landen Thomas and Taylor Daulton McCauley. He is also survived by his brother, William Vincent McCauley of Frederick, MD his two sisters; Patricia Morgan of Hagerstown, MD and Betty Parks of Hughesville, Md. and also his brother and sister in law, Johnny and Geri Calavetinos.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 PM Friday Jan 28, 2005 at Laurel Hill Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Tony Self. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 PM Thursday at the Funeral Home. The pallbearers will be Ric Greene, Scott Seay, Melvin Brown, Jeff Massey, Robert Massey and Tom Beall and Ray Carter will serve as an honorary bearer.
