Janette Harris Graves, age 87 of Jeffersonton, Virginia, died Sunday, March 8, 2009.
Born in Dorchester, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late George and Isabella Kerr Graves.
Miss Graves was a missionary for 55 years, and served in states from Maine to Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Graves.
She is survived by two brothers, Charles Graves of Baltimore, MD, and George Graves of Union, Maine, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm Friday, March 13, 2009 in the chapel of Laurel Hill Funeral Home with Mr. James Holt and Mr. Samuel McCrackin officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Walnut Hills Cemetery in Brookline, Massachusetts. Visiting hours will be on Friday from 11:00am - 1:00pm, prior to the service at the funeral home.
