Janie Jo Ann (Hagerman) Kelly, 73 formerly of Unionville passed away on Monday December 12, 2016. She was born on August 6, 1943 to Harvey and Beatrice (Keene) Hagerman in Whitewood, VA. Jo Ann married Hassell Kelly on December 12, 1959 and he preceded her in death in 2011. Together they collected and distributed clothing and household goods, for many years, to the poor of West Virginia Counties where they grew up. Jo Ann also volunteered at the Orange County Schools in the 1980's and early 90's.
Survivors include; two sons, Rocky (Coni); Mike (Donna), two brothers Oliver and Harvey Hagerman; three grandchildren: Creed, Jeffrey, Craig and great grandchild, Hailey. A third brother, Hubert precedes her in death.
Services of Remembrance for Jo Ann and Hassell will be held at Laurel Hill Funeral Home on Saturday December 17, 2016 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Amos Healy officiating.
