Jeffrey Lee Fox (Jeff), age 55, of Spotsylvania, Virginia passed away peacefully on February 6, 2024, at VCU Hospital in Richmond, VA, surrounded by his daughter, fiancée, and close friends. He was born in Spotsylvania, Virginia to Carl and Deloris Fox on December 4th,1968. Jeff worked as a Lead Instructor for CDS Tractor Trailer Training for 25 years as a classroom and on-the-road instructor. He taught 12 to 13 thousand students during his tenure. Jeff's students and coworkers had nothing but nice things to say about him. Jeff was blessed with a daughter, Callie, on March 15, 1998. Jeff met his fiancé Lizette in October 2009. Jeff enjoyed taking Lizette hunting, preparing meals with her, and watching hunting and car shows with her. They also enjoyed spending time with his parents. Jeff and Lizette became engaged on February 14th, 2019. Jeff was an avid hunter, who loved going hunting with his friends. His friends can tell you some great stories about their hunting adventures. Jeff also enjoyed taking his daughter hunting with him and talking with her about her love of animals. Jeff was well-known for his big heart, his love for his daughter, parents, and fiancée, being a loving brother, a man of few words, being an amazing instructor who touched so many lives, and for many other great qualities. Jeff will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Jeff is survived by his daughter, Callie R. Fox of Spotsylvania, VA, his fiancée, Lizette Diaz of WV, his father, Carl M. Fox of Spotsylvania, VA, his siblings, Gregory L. Fox (Kathleen) of Spotsylvania, VA, Camelia F. Merryman of Spotsylvania, VA, Karen F. Wiseman of Spotsylvania, VA, five nephews, E. Wayne Merryman (Katelyn), Wesley Wiseman, Gregory R. Fox (Calli), Nolan Fox, Tucker Fox, three nieces, Victoria A. Fox (Corey), Hannah, and Madalyn. Jeff was preceded in death by his mother Deloris H. Fox and Brother Carl Martin Fox Jr. (Marty).

His daughter, fiancée, and his friends would like to thank the nurses and doctors at VCU hospital for all the care they provided Jeff. They would like to say a special thank you to Jennifer the nurse who was with them on the day of his passing as she was truly a blessing to have with
them during the difficult time. As well as the chaplain who sang amazing grace by Jeff's bedside.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Laurel Hill Funeral Home (10127 Plank Rd, Spotsylvania Courthouse, VA 22553). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service
will be held on Tuesday, February 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Laurel Hill Memorial Park (10127 Plank Rd, Spotsylvania Courthouse, VA 22553).
