Obituary
Jewel J. Lanehart, 90, of Stafford went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, October 11, 2012.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold S. Lanehart; sister Ruby Swindle; and brother, Jimmy Johnson.
She is survived by her daughter Judy Whipple and her husband TJ, grandsons Jameson and Matthew; sisters Opal Gonzales of Arizona, Pearl McCaleb of Alabama; sisters-in-law Geneva McGraw of Baltimore, Maryland, Doris Whitman of Purcellville, VA and Linda Brant of Locust Grove, VA., and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, October 14, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Laurel Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Keith Boyette officiating. In Lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to Wilderness Community Church Compassion Fund. 10501 Plank Rd. Spotsylvania, VA 22553. Laurel Hill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
