Joanne (Neerbasch) (Schoepfel) Maisenbacher passed peacefully after a short illness at her home in Fredricksburg Virginia. Born in 1944, she was 78. Previously a long time resident of Western NY, Joanne retired from Eastman Kodak after 29 years. She moved to Florida in 1997 where she lived with her second husband Richard, until moving closer to family in 2020.

She had two wonderful marriages in her lifetime; Her first husband, Joseph Schoepfel (d.1987) and her second husband, Richard Maisenbacher (d. 2021).

Although never had kids of her own, Joanne helped raise, and is survived by her four stepchildren; Gary Schoepfel, Dianne (Schoepfel, Pieters) Wisniewski, Wendy (Maisenbacher) Rosenthal and Kirk Maisenbacher, and two grandchildren, Kristen Pieters and Kimberlee Pieters.
