Johann is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Margaret (Margie) Hild; his sister Anne McFeeters; his brother Adam Hild (Sandy); his children, Nathanael Hild (Erika), Angelo Cillo, Tracey Edwards (Ian) and Christopher Hild; his grandchildren, Ava, Emma, Jaden, Payton, Connor, Hayden, Matthew, Julie and Hailey.  He is preceded in death by his parents Josef and Magdalena Hild.

Johann was a proud Soldier in the US Army, last stationed at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.  He was honorably discharged in 1985.  Johann retired from Dominion Power in 2018 as a Senior LAN Administrator in Herndon, Virginia.

Johann was a devoted family man.  He enjoyed going to the beach, fishing, watching his grandchildren play sports and spending time with his beloved dogs, Max and Bailey.

A viewing will be held on Monday, December 7, 2020 from 6:00pm- 8:00pm at the Laurel Hill Funeral Home, family and friends are welcome.  A funeral service will be held for immediate family only (due to Covid restrictions) on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 1:00pm at the Laurel Hill Funeral Home.  Pastor Amos Healey will officiate.  Flowers may be offered at the Laurel Hill Funeral Home.
