John Robert "Coach K" Kayajanian, 61, of Locust Grove, VA passed away at his home on Tuesday March 14, 2017. John was born on January 14, 1956 in Providence, RI, to John and Gloria (Corvese) Kayajanian. He received his Bachelors Degree from Frostburg State University. Coach "K" taught and coached for over thirty four years before retiring. He married Lori Anne Brandenburg on June 26, 1982. Survivors include his wife, Lori; his sons; John Jr. and wife, Laura and Michael Domenic; daughter, Carla Anne; granddaughter Everly; two sisters Doreen Kayajanian and Lori Hahn (Chris) Visitation will be held at Laurel Hill Funeral Home on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 10 am to 12 noon with Funeral Mass held at St. Patrick Catholic Church at 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Patrick Catholic Church Building Fund in Honor of Coach "K".
