John Joseph Condon, 74, of Lake of the Woods, passed away Friday October 26, 2007 at Mary Washington Hospital
Mr. Condon was a member of the 1st Ranger Army Battalion during the Korean War and was retired from Verizon.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Dianne L. Condon, his three sons Scott Condon of Los Angeles, Glen Condon of Long Island and Keith Condon and his wife Donna of Mt. Laurel, NJ; his daughter, Denise Whyte and her husband Anthony of Webster, NY; his grand children, Colleen, Eileen and Christopher Condon and Caitlin, Brian and Bridget Whyte; his sisters in law; Joyce Foreman and her husband Tom of Denver, NC and Susan Wiskemann of Levittown NY; his mother in law, Mary Aileen Wiskemann of Levittown, NY and numerous nieces and nephews.
A mass of resurrection will be celebrated 10 am Monday October 29 at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 Sunday evening at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, Spotsylvania. Entombment will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
