On Tuesday, April 5, 2022, John E. Gladis, at 91, passed away peacefully in his sleep. John was born May 20, 1930 in Hazelton, Pennsylvania. He graduated high school, enrolled into trade school and became a tailor/fitter. Hazelton is where he met Mary, his wife of 60 years. They had three children; Stephen, Maryann and John. John moved his family to Virginia in 1967 where he resided until his death. He is preceded in death by his parents; Anna and Stephen, and two brother; Stephen and Richard. He was a dedicated family man and member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Jon was also a member of the Knights of Columbus for decades. He leaves behind his wife, Mary, his three children and three granddaughters; Taylor, Jordan and Haley. He was very loved by family and friends and will be missed by all who knew his kind soul.

Family will receive friends from 10am-11:30am on Monday, April 11, 2022. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 12pm at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Memorial Park at 1:30pm.
