John Raymond Knight, 54, of Fredericksburg passed away on Friday November 4, 2016 at Mary Washington Hospital. John was born on January 17, 1962 to the late Dorn and Nimma Elizabeth (Tinnel) Knight in Manassas, VA.

John was a lifelong area resident. He worked in building maintenance for the In and Out Building Maintenance Company of Fredericksburg.

Survivors include his daughter; Ashley Elizabeth Knight and son; Joshua Dorn Knight; two brothers Joseph E. Knight and wife Barbara of Burlington Kentucky; James R. Woods and wife Joyce of Birch River, West Virginia; and sister Belinda I. Divelbiss and husband James of Lake of the Woods. John was also preceded in death by his sister Betty I. Wiltshire of Spotsylvania.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016, at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, with family receiving visitors from 10:00 am until the 11 a.m. service. Interment will immediately follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Park. Condolences may be shared with the family through this online guestbook.
