John Daniel Meyers, 79,of Fredericksburg, passed away Monday April 30, 2007 at his residence.
Mr. Meyers was a marine veteran and a retired pressman working for the Washington Post and the San Diego Union Tribune, and later he operated a tool and maintence supplies business calling on customers in the northern neck, central VA and southern MD.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy B. Meyers, his daughters Janet Baldwin, of TX, Maryan Wiedenfeld of San Diego, CA, Veronica Bradshaw and her husband Harold of Casper WY and Barbara Douglas and her husband Frank of Fredericksburg, his son, John D. Meyers, Jr. of Casper, WY, his step children, Charles Bosch, Carolyn Butler and Cheryl Bosch all of Fredericksburg, 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his first wife, Mary C. Meyers, his two daughters, Kathleen Kelly and Carol Meyers and his bother Thomas Briggs Meyers.
