John Hutchinson Yienger, 84, of Locust Grove, passed away Monday April 9, 2012 at his residence. He was born on August 11, 1927 in Baltimore MD, the son of the late Frederick and Elva (Hutchinson) Yienger. He was a US Navy Veteran, retired general manager from the United States Departmentof Energy, a member of the Lake of the Woods Lions Club and a member of the Lake of the Woods Church. Mr. Yienger is survived by his wife, Coral Yienger; his three daughters, Therese Israel of Lloyd's Neck, NY, Renee Ferlet of Fredericksburg and Michelle Priddy of Bedford,NH; his three sons, Robert Yienger of Bronxville, NY, David Yienger of Plano, TX and Kevin Yienger of New York City, NY; his sister, Barbara Coyle of Cape May, NJ. He also is survived by 12 grandchildren, Daniel, Jeffery and Laura Israel; Grace and John Yienger; Christopher, Patrick, Maria and Theresa Yienger; Maya Yienger; Tim Briand and MaeleighFerlet. He is predeceased by his son, John L.Yienger. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday April 13, 2012 at Lake of the Woods Church, located at 1 Church Lane in Lake of the Woods, Locust Grove, VA 22508. Reverend Tom Schafer will officiate. The family will receive friends from 4:00PM to 7:00PM Thursday April 12 at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, located at 10127 Plank Road, Spotsylvania, VA 22553. Entombment will be in the Laurel Hill Memorial Park Mausoleums.
