Joyce Ann White (Age 77), of Spotsylvania, VA., passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 16, 2022. She is the loving wife of 61 years to the late Norman Eugene White, Sr;  devoted mother of Norman E. White, Jr. (Tammy), Debbie White, and Dawn Jamison; cherished grandmother of 21 grandchildren; Mandi Ramey, Virginia Ramey, John Hunt, Jr., Stacey Wilson (Chris), Kristopher Ramey, Samantha Mayor (Chris), Lisa Partonen (Mack), Linda Jo Carneal, Norman White, III (Tori), Tiffanny Jamison, Brittany White (Justin), Breanna Blount (Josh), Derek Christian (Laura) and Sean Conkey; 33 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Art Eckert Sr, Donald (Brenda), Wayne (Barbara) and Bobby Eckert.  Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Raymond Eckert Sr; siblings Raymond Eckert, Jr, Elizabeth Ramey, Delores Noftsinger and one grandson, Danny Ramey, Jr.

Joyce's husband, Norman, was her one and only. She loved to bake, was an awesome cook, loved her dog Roxy, who was treated like a queen, and enjoyed holidays to the fullest. She was Elvis' biggest fan, the queen of scrabble, enjoyed watching birds come to her many feeders, making gnome gardens and collecting Funko pops. Joyce worked in childcare, she loved teaching children until she retired. She will be missed by her loving family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to Joyce's visitation at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, 10127 Plank Rd, Spotsylvania, VA on Tuesday, January 25, from 11 AM until time of Graveside Service in the Laurel Hill Memorial Park at 12 PM.
