Judith "Judy" Ann (Jameson) Helton, 65, of Fredericksburg passed away at Mary Washington Hospital surrounded by her family on Sunday February 18, 2018.

Judy was born on October 14, 1952 in Washington, D.C. to Joseph and Frances L. (MaVars) Jameson. She married her high school sweetheart, Gary A. Helton on September 20, 1969 in Maryland. They moved to Fredericksburg over 35 years ago and Judy worked at the CVS warehouse for over 10 years, before joining Geico where she retired after 19 years.

Judy is survived by her beloved husband, Gary; two sons, Joseph "Joey" and Gary Jr.; daughter, Mary R. Helton; brother James Robert Jameson (Diane); two sisters, Valerie J. Dowell, Terri F. Jernigan and 6 grandchildren, Owen Helton, Shelby Helton, Nicholas Atkins III, Evan Grant Helton West, Courtney McDonald and Conner Hoster.

Visitation will be Thursday February 22, 2018 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Laurel Hill Funeral Home and funeral services on Friday February 23, 2018 at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel.
