Judy B. Brown, age 82 of Fredericksburg, died Friday, February 08, 2008 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Born in Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late A. Kenneth and Josie Reese Bryant. Mrs. Brown had worked for the federal government as an accounting technician with the IRS.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, James E. Brown; daughter, Connie Sherman and her husband Stan; son, James E. Brown, Jr., grandchildren, Cindy Oakes and her husband Toby, Brian Sherman and his wife Wanda, Scott Sherman and his wife Rhonda; Jennifer Sherman; nine great grandchildren and two sisters.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00am Monday, February 11th in the chapel of Laurel Hill Funeral Home, 10127 Plank Road, Spotsylvania, with interment to follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Stan Sherman, Brian Sherman, Scott Sherman, Toby Oakes, Bobby Oakes, and Jamie Oakes.
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 10th from 6:00 - 8:00pm at the funeral home.
