It's with broken hearts that we share the passing of Jerry on June 9, 2020. She was surrounded by family and went peacefully to join her savior. Heaven gained a beautiful angel.

Jerry was born and raised in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She graduated from James Monroe High School and kept life-long friendships with her girlfriends. Her life's work was as a speech pathologist starting at Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center in Waynesboro, Virginia and later at Mary Washington Hospital. Jerry received her bachelor's degree from Mary Washington College and her master's degree from University of Virginia. She facilitated numerous support groups for stroke survivors. She developed long-term friendships with this work including meeting the love of her life, Vic Jurek.

Jerry was a wonderful sister, mother, grandmother (Grammy) and great-grandmother. Her life lessons and fun spirit were shared through annual Grammy camps. She was a devoted member to several local churches with her and Vic's latest adventure with the newly formed Redeemer Bible Church. Her enthusiasm for the Lord and testimony touched so many and led many to the Christian faith. She led many bible study groups and most recently was a part of the Fawn Lake Ladies Bible Study group.

Jerry was an avid gardener sharing her plants with anyone who would come "dig" them up. She was a member of the Lake of the Woods Garden Club.  Her creations will continue to bloom every year reminding us of her favorite time of the year.

Marrying Vic was truly one of the happiest times of her life. His fun-loving spirit brought out the best in Jerry, sparking adventurous trips discovering places and meeting new people. She often said she didn't need to vacation because she lived at a resort with the most perfect guy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Sue Campbell of Fredericksburg, VA; granddaughter, Whitney L. Miller of Fredericksburg, VA.

She is survived by her husband, Victor Jurek of Locust Grove, Virginia; her brother, Alexander Campbell, Jr. (Mary) of Richmond, Virginia; her sister, Leslie Graves of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; her daughter and son-in-law, Bruce and Anne (Coleman) Miller of Fredericksburg, Virginia; her grandson, Jalen A. Miller of Fredericksburg, VA; her granddaughters, Sierra C. Robinson of Waldorf, Maryland, Breauna L. Miller of Fairfax, Virginia, Jazzlynne A. Miller of Fredericksburg Virginia; her great-grandchildren, Rylee and Journee Robinson and Nehemiah and Amirah Miller.

Vic's family welcomed and loved Jerry. Vic's sons Jay Paul Jurek (Tracie Leigh) and Marc Tomas Jurek (Tobie Lynn); Grandchildren, Jayson P. Jurek, Libby A. Jurek, Samuel W. Jurek, Jessica Rae; Great grandchildren, Alexandra and Ashton Jurek.
