Karen Ann (Burnham) Parrott, 62 of Manassas passed away on Wednesday February 14, 2018 in Arlington, VA.  Karen was born on June 21, 1955 to William "Bill" Earl and Frieda (Peel) Burnham.  She married Robert John "Chip" Parrott on March 20, 1988 and he survives.  Karen worked for many years in administration in Fairfax County in the Department of Tax Administration, before transferring to and retiring from the police department.  Karen enjoyed crafts, needle work, Tatting, an 18 century craft, and sculpting.  Survivors also include her son, Shannon Beaty (Melinda), sister, Christina Mager (George), two grandchildren, Seth and Shelby Beaty.  Karen was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Chase Beaty.  Memorial Services will be held at Laurel Hill Funeral Home on Sunday March 4, 2018 beginning at 2 pm.
