Obituary

Kenneth John "Ken" Bulik, 63, of Locust Grove, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2015, at Mary Washington Hospital, with his family at his side. Ken was born on July 25, 1952 in Kenosha, Wisconsin to John and Irene (Wierzbicki) Bulik. He was a graduate of S. Josephs High School. He received Bachelor's Degrees from The University of Wisconsin and Duquesne University. He also received Master Degrees from Clemson University and The University of Phoenix. He married Ann Romanelli on June 18, 1988 in Bradford, PA. Ken was a professor at Villa Maria College and later served as Program Director at Whisper Ridge Behavioral Health System, Vanguard Services Unlimited, Regional Coordinator at Family Preservation Services and Quality Assurance & Risk Management Manager at Pine Valley School & Group Homes. Ken was a published author. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and also a member of the Battlefield Council of the Knights of Columbus. Ken enjoyed camping, boating and swimming and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.
He is survived by his wife Ann, two daughters, Kendra Ann and Theresa Kristine Bulik, a brother, Robert (Julie) Bulik and several nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his parents. He will be sadly missed by his beloved dog Taffy.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 5, 2015 at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, Spotsylvania, from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday January 6, 2016 at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Fredericksburg. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
