Kenneth Wayne "Tiny" Lawson, 61, of Fredericksburg passed away Saturday June 29, 2013 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Kenneth was born on March 13, 1952 in Hart County, KY, to Luther Cheek and Mary Elizabeth (Davis) Lawson. He got the nickname of Tiny, because he was really a big man, standing at 6'8" tall. He worked in the construction trades most of his life, as a heat and air condition technician and as a mason, for several companies before becoming self employed.
Tiny married Rita Ann Benningfield on Aug. 10, 1973 in Hart County, KY and she survives him. He was a member of the Glen Lily Church of God of Prophecy in Hart County.
Survivors also include: 2 sons; Michael Wayne and his wife Shawn Lawson; Christian Alan and his wife Shannon Lawson; 1 brother Clyde Wilson and his wife Eva Lawson;
2 Grandsons: Stephen Wayne and Mason Alan Lawson; and 1 Great grandson, Tristian Lawson. Tiny was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother William Luther "Babe"

Visitation will be at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, Wednesday July 3, 2013 from 5 to 7 pm, with funeral services starting at 7 pm, with Rev. Melvin T. Covington Jr., officiating.
