Lambert B. Cox
Lambert B. Cox, born in Mansfield, Louisiana on April 24, 1945, son of Lambert B. Cox Sr. and Bessie May Cox, passed away on August 6, 2007, IN Fredericksburg, VA
Mr. Cox retired as a Lieutenant with the Minden, Louisiana Police Department. After his retirement from the police department Lambert and Connie moved to LOW to be close to their grandchildren. Lambert then became the office manager for his son-in-law's dental practice.
He was an active member of the Spotswood Baptist Church. Lambert is survived by his wife Connie, his mother, Bessie Mae Cox, his son Michael Cox and two daughters, Jan Salter and Denise Pagan. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Ronnie Welch and a sister LaTonya Gibson.
Mr. Cox was preceded in death by his father, Lambert Cox, Sr. , two sons, John Burton Cox and Jeffery Burton Cox and his sister Martha Ellen Young.
The Cox family will received friends and family Thursday, August 9 from 7:00 - 8:00 PM at Laurel Hill Funeral Home. Rev. Jim Stone will officiate at the funeral service, to be held at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, Friday, August 10, 2007 at 10:00 AM. Interment will at Laurel Hill Memorial Park immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers please provide contributions to the building fund at Spotswood Baptist Church.
