Larry Gene Embrey, 62 formerly of Spotsylvania passed away on Wednesday February 15, 2017 at Martha Jefferson Hospital.
Larry was born on October 12, 1954 to William Thomas and Pauline Mary (Heflin) Embrey in Fredericksburg. He married Adriene Joyce Spears on January 12, 1974 in Mt. Vernon, VA and moved to Spotsylvania in 1978. Larry had his own company, Spotsylvania Siding and Replacement Windows until his illness caused him to seek early retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Adriene; son; Gordon G. Embrey; daughter, Stacey Marie Embrey; brother, Donald Embrey (Mary); two sisters; Hazel Cooper and Donna Sue Compton (Sonny); four grandchildren, Tyler Burkhardt, Victoria Oakes, Corey Bouffard and Hunter Embrey.
