Linda Combs O'Brien, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother , passed away on June 7, 2020 at the age of 73 with her husband of 30 years by her side.

Linda is survived by her husband, Russell (Rusty) O'Brien, Sr.; her three sons, Daryl, Rusty Jr., and Eric; three daughter s -in-law, Michelle, Renee, and Vikki; five grand sons, S hawn , Joshua, Dusty, Tristan, and Zach; two granddaughters, Ciara and Kerigan; three great-grandsons, Grayson, Reggie and Bryson, and one great-granddaughter Mackenzie. She is also survived by her brother, Roy Combs, Jr ., and his family , as well as numerous extended relatives . She is predeceased by both her parents , Roy, Sr. and Mary Combs.

Linda was born on January 2, 1947 in Tazewell, VA. She married her love , Rus ty O'Brien , Sr. , on April 6, 1990. She and Ru sty create d a loving home for their family . Linda enjoyed a rich life of love and laughter , surrounded by her family. Family was the most important thing to Linda ; her favorite times were when all her sons were around her with their families. She was also a spiritual woman , enjoying involvement , as much as possible, with church activities. Linda will be deeply missed by her family and friends and all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to Linda's visitation at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, 10127 Plank Rd., Spotsylvania, VA on Tuesday, June 16, from 10 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in the Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
