Lois Margaret (Decker) Hollenbach, 83, of Locust Grove, passed away on Wednesday morning, April 6, 2016 at Mary Washington Hospital. Lois was born in Passiac, NJ on January 6, 1933 to Raymond and Agnes (Cooper) Decker. She married C. Richard "Dick" Hollenbach on December 26, 1953 at Newark, NJ. They lived in New York, New Jersey and Northern Virginia before settling in the Lake of the Woods in 1987.
Lois was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Fredericksburg She was loved by everyone due to her loving, caring and forgieing nature..
Survivors include her husband, Dick; two sons, Paul Michael (Jill), Mark Joseph (Mary); five grandchildren; David, Billy, Richard, Sam and Mattie and four great grandchildren; Dalton, Raymond, Claudia and Gabe.. Lois was preceded in death by her parents and son David Raymond Hollenbach.
Visitation will be held on Sunday April 10, 2016 from 4 to 6 pm with prayer services beginning at 5:30 pm at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, Spotsylvania. Funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church at 10:30 am on Monday, April 11, 2016 with Father John Ziegler officiating. Entombment will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Jude Medical Center at www.stjude.org.
