Lucinda Gail Osborne, age 50 of Fredericksburg, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 28, 2008 at her residence.
Born in Alexandria, she was the daughter of David and Phyllis Hagelin Osborne. Lucinda was a graduate of Spotsylvania High School, and in her youth, enjoyed horseback riding. She had been employed with Geico for over ten years as a licensed charted property casualty underwriter. Lucinda was a crossword puzzle enthusiast, an avid reader, and could often be found reading her Bible. She attended several area churches, and had been a member of Spotswood Baptist and Faith Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Lucinda is survived by two sisters, Tina Osborne, and Robin Parker and her husband Joe of Manassas; niece and nephew, Joy and Donald Parker of Manassas. Lucinda was also a proud "Dog Mom" to her Chihuahua, Snippie, and her Dachshund, Bandit.
A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Thursday, July 31, 2008 in the chapel of Laurel Hill Funeral Home, 10127 Plank Rd, Spotsylvania, with the Rev. Jim Stone officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
