Marcelline Georgette (Blaise) Greggs, 80, of Fredericksburg passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Carriage Health and Rehab.
Marcelline was born on February 20, 1937 to Jules and Marie (Gardiner) Blaise in Metz, France. She married Robert Eugene Greggs on August 14, 1956 in Metz, while he was stationed there with the U.S. Air Force. Marcelline was a stay at home and devoted military wife. They moved to the Fredericksburg area in 2004 from Port St. Lucie, FL. Robert preceded her in death in 2009.
Survivors include her son: Ralph (Patricia); two daughters; Linda Slattery (John), Nancy Pav; and five grandchildren; Michael and Terence Slattery, Claire Finale (Moises), Jennifer Pav (David Spicer) and Kevin Pav.
Visitation will be held at Laurel Hill Funeral Home on Sunday November 12, 2017 from 4 pm to 6 pm, with a Rosary being said at the end. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Monday, November 13, 2017 at 1:30 pm, with Father Jerry Wooton officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.
