Marcia Joan Bowles, 65 of Fawn Lake, Spotsylvania, VA passed away at Spotsylvania Regional Hospital, Wednesday April 1, 2015.
Marcia was born on July 12, 1949 in Peoria, IL, to Melvin William and Joan (Law) Rohman. She graduated from Metamora Township High School. She married Donald Joseph Bowles on February 15, 1969 in Metamora, IL. They made their home in Illinois and California, before settling in Herndon, VA until moving to Fawn Lake, Spotsylvania, in 2002 after Marcia retired.
She worked for several Property management companies as a property manager from 1975 until retiring from Legum & Norman Property Management in Washington DC. She was a member of the Wilderness Community Church and Fawn Lake Country Club.
Survivors include her husband, Don; 2 sons; Todd William Bowles, Nathan Blaine (Sandra) Bowles; 2 grandchildren; Victor and Natalia Bowles. Marcia was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Matthew William Rohman, and 2 sisters, Melva Kay and Mary Rohman.
Service of Remembrance will be held Monday, April 6, 2015 at the Wilderness Community Church, Spotsylvania, VA with Pastor Keith Boyette officiating. A reception will be held after the services at Fawn Lake Country Club. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Wilderness Community Church Building Fund, 10501 Plank Rd.
