Margaret "Maggie" Elizabeth Robinson, 18, of Ruther Glen, died in an auto accident, Saturday, May 7, 2016 in Spotsylvania. Maggie was born on August 25, 1997 to Robert Raymond and Lisa Carlton Robinson, in Fredericksburg. She graduated from Caroline High School where she was a member of the AFROTC and worked at Dairy Queen. She enjoyed music and dancing and loved animals.
Survivors include her father and step-mother, Robert and Glorymar; her mother, Lisa; sister Ashley; step-brother and sister Ashley and Brandon Thibodeau; maternal grandparents, G.A. "Ash" Carlton, Jr. and Sylvia Dement. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Robert and Claire (Moreau) Robinson.
An informal Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 5 pm at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, Spotsylvania. Anyone wishing to share stories of Maggie's life is requested to let the funeral home know. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Richmond SPCA at richmondspca.org, in Maggie's memory.
