Maria Antoinette Brown, 58, of Locust Grove, Va. went to be with her Lord, on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, at her home, surrounded by her family.
Maria was born on Dec. 21, 1955 in Washington, D.D. to Lawrence Henry and Alice (Henderson) Brown. She was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.
Survivors include: her parents Lawrence H. and Alice Brown; 1 daughter; Ashley Minor;
1 step-son, Gregory Thomas; 4 brothers; Clyde Johnson, Lawrence Brown Jr., Dennis Brown, Daryl Brown; 5 sisters; Doris Brady, Doris Jenkins, Rita Armstrong, Shelia Brown, Tjuana Atkinson and 3 adapted sisters; Donna White, Pamela Jay and Cozetta Bickers.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday Feb. 18, 2014 at the Branch Fork Baptist Church, 6930 Stubbs Bridge Road, Spotsylvania from 1 to 2 p.m. with the funeral services being held at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in the Family Cemetery, Orange County, Va.
