Marie Victoire (Cabana) Dumas, 89, beloved wife of Laurier R. Dumas, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2007 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA. Born May 7, 1918 in New Bedford, MA, she was the daughter of the late Esther (Nadeau) and Arsene Joseph Cabana.
In addition to her devoted husband of 56 years, she will be lovingly remembered by her children, Lucille Parkinson and her husband, John, of Fairfield, CT, Roger Dumas and his wife, Sue, of Eastham, MA, and Diane Dumas of Locust Grove, VA; two grandchildren, Melissa Posey and Christopher Leathe, and one great grandchild; a brother, Gerard Cabana and his wife Ruth of Fairhaven, MA, a sister, Therese Duggan of Marion, MA, and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday at 11:00 am at St. Patrick Church, Spotsylvania, VA. Arrangements have been made by Laurel Hill Funeral Home of Spotsylvania, VA.
