Mary Estelle Keates, 82, of Fredericksburg passed away Sunday February 20, 2011 at her residence.
She was born on April 1, 1928 in Washington DC, the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Chichester) Cordovilla. She was a member of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church.
Mrs. Keates is survived by her husband, Eric Charles Keates, her two daughters, Diane M. Thompson of Fredericksburg and Eileen Habib of Locust Grove, her two brothers John Cordovilla of Edgewater, MD and Frank Cordovilla of Falls Church, her sister Phyllis Maynard of St. Mary's KS, her 8 grandchildren, Colleen, Mathew and Carolyn Habib, Richey Thompson, Kristel Christian, Bryan and Stuart Lester and Sydney Toombs. Also, she is survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be conducted 10:30 AM Wednesday February 23, 2011 at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Fredericksburg. Burial will be at Laurel Hill Memorial Park, Spotsylvania.
