Mary Ann Rogers, 69, of Locust Grove passed away Tuesday November, 8, 2011 in Richmond.
She was born on December 26, 1941 in West Jefferson, NC, the daughter of the late Felix and Pearl Massey. She was employed for 25 years at The Golden Living Nursing Home. She loved to shop, travel and often made trips to play the slots. She touched the life of everyone she ever met.
Mrs. Rogers is survived by her husband of 48 years, Clyde Rogers, her three daughters and their husbands, Rosa and Eddie Seale, Tamera and Larry Nelson and Crystal and Jim Nichols, all of Locust Grove. Her grandchildren Meagan Bivins and her husband David, Hunter Seale, Hayden and Chase Nichols, one great-grandchild, Mackenzie Mesimer. She is also survived by her two brothers, Tom Massey of Port Royal and Joe Massey of Lignum and her sister Helen Goad of Roanoke also numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her four brothers, Ed, Bill, Dean and Goldie Massey.
Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 pm Saturday November 12, 2011 at Laurel Hill Funeral Home. Rev. Amos Healy will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Friday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Laurel Hill Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Hunter Seale, Drew Massey, Bobby Rodgers, , David Ross Shawn Wolfrey and Ronald Wolfrey.
