IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michael J.
Brennan, Jr.
January 16, 1942 – October 25, 2022
Michael J. Brennan, Jr., 80, went to be with the lord on October 25th, 2022, surrounded by his family in Fredericksburg, VA.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Susan J. Brennan, his brother Dennis Brennan and his wife Barbara, and sister Patricia Brennan. He will also be missed by his children, son Michael Brennan and his wife Quinne, son Sean Brennan, step-daughter Julie VanSchaick and her husband Jim, step-son Mark Pearce and his wife Kathy, and step-daughter Lisa Williams and her husband Scott; his grandkids Eric, Carter, Payton, Stefani, Bryant, Taylor, Kaylee, Thomas, Victoria, and 5 great-grandchildren.
Michael earned his BS & MS from Fordham University and went on to become a Microbiologist/Biochemist in research and development at General Electric in Niskayuna, NY for 25 years. Michael loved spending time with his family (especially the grandkids) and always made time for golf, tennis, reading, traveling, and donating his time to the Church.
Since 2015, Michael's heart and passion belonged to the Victory 1:27 ministry organization - providing food, shelter, education, and hope to children in Uganda. With his belief, vision, encouragement, and financial support, construction of the Victory Primary School was made possible, and the Michael J. Brennan dormitory was completed in December 2021.
Services will be held at 11am on November 5, 2022 at the Church of the Messiah, 12201 Spotswood Furnace Lane, Fredericksburg, VA 22407.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Victory 1:27, a mission organization that ministers to children in the slums outside of Kampala, Uganda. To give online, go to V127.org/give. Checks may be made out to MVC with V127 on the memo line, and mailed to Victory 1:27, 732 Covered Bridge Dr., Madison, VA 22727.
